BIO

Born in Stow, Ohio, Erin Rachel Hudak's work explores the juxtapositions between our deepest desires and the undoing of our selves, our environment and each other.  Immediate, passionate and honest, Hudak uses images mined from mass media to create collages, drawings and paintings that are "as much poetic as they are political and playful as they are perceptive." writes Pauli Ochi.  She attended Allegheny College to study art and literature and received her B.F.A from the Savannah College of Art and Design.  Hudak has exhibited her work nationally and internationally.  She lives in Brooklyn, New York.
